For those familiar with Veneno coupe variant that looks like something dropped off from an alien planet, just picture that same car without a roof and you have the roadster. For nearly $5 million dollars, the nine lucky individuals who purchase this ridiculously exclusive and extreme road going exotic will have to accept that this is not a fair weather vehicle as it simply has no roof - Pacific Northwest billionaires, maybe not the best car for you.

Here are all the reasons that slightly justify the Veneno Roadster price tag. There will only be nine made. That makes this variant slightly less exclusive than its coupe brother, but more expensive. If you like to go fast, you will have no problem doing so with an incredible top speed of 221mph too. This is achieved via a 6.5L twelve-cylinder engine mated to a rapid shifting ISR transmission with five modes, permanent all-wheel drive and a racing chassis with pushrod suspension and horizontal spring/damper units. Horsepower comes in at 750 and 0-62mph is reached in a mind blowing 2.9sec. The power-to-weight ratio is impressive at 4.38 lb/hp, ensuring incredible performance. Still not impressed?

The car is also made entirely of carbon fiber (all exterior parts are made from CFRP - carbon fiber reinforced polymer) resulting in a claimed dry weight of 3278 lb. Carbon fiber does not stop at the monocoque but also continues to almost every visible surface within the interior, with every piece on the car sculpted to achieve the most downforce and perfect airflow. The front end, rear fenders, underbody, large openings by the engine bay, rear wing and even the wheels all work together in beautiful harmony to achieve maximum aerodynamic efficiency. And while the color you see pictured here was exclusively made for the Roadster (Rosso Veneno), customers can individualize their new purchase to suite their preference.
